tanish mendki

i graduated from uc santa barbara with degrees in statistics and data science and psychological and brain sciences. my work sits at the intersection of computational neuroscience and computer vision, studying how humans and artificial systems represent visual information and what that tells us about each.

outside the lab i cofounded gaucho sports analytics at ucsb, and serve as president of ucsb dhadkan, a bollywood fusion dance nonprofit that has raised $30k+ for charity. i also spend way too much time in cafes.
